Programming since 1985. John is a Transformational therapist and
trainer. He believes learning and growth happen in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
John's teaching skills make learning easy and enjoyable.
John has been certified as an NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) Trainer. In addition, John is a Certified Time Line Therapy (TM) Master Practitioner, a Huna Alaka'i (the equivalent of being a Pipe Carrier) and a Certified Hypnotist by the Manitoba Hypnotists' Association and the American Board of Hypnotherapy. John has been given two Spirit Names. His Hawaiian name is Kaukahi meaning ìthe One Who Rises up to the Source of Illumination, and John's North American name is Capapama Tee Thit Ishkota Ba zikay Achak ìWandering Buffalo Spirit.
Very early in John's Social Work career, he found traditional therapeutic techniques did not work with the multi-problem clients he was working with. His search for skill and knowledge brought him very quickly to the fields of Hypnosis and Neuro-linguistic Programming.
John's intensive training in the ancient native Shamanic traditions of Hawaii has proven invaluable in his quest for healing. John has become very popular for integrating spirituality into his trainings. John acknowledges and recognizes the importance of the human spirit and it's connection to the mind and body. He believes that inside each of us is a magical essence, that when tapped has the power to transform your life. All of John's work is focused on empowering individuals to connect with this essence.
